For whatever reason, scanning multi-page PDFs in Windows Fax and Scan is unreliable or impossible. HP Solution Center is most helpful for its scanning software. You can use Windows Fax and Scan for that. But luckily, it’s not required for basic scanning and printing. Even on a Core2Duo processor with 4 GB of RAM, HP’s software feels sluggish.
